PlayStation outsells Xbox 4x in Europe: According to the European Commission, which authorised Microsoft’s purchase of Activision Blizzard earlier this month, PlayStation sells four times as many consoles as Xbox in Europe.
According to a speech by Margrethe Vestager, executive vice president of the European Commission, Sony’s console is now performing substantially better in the area than Microsoft’s.
When explaining why the European Commission authorised the Activision Blizzard merger, Vestager said that neither company’s presence in the continent was significant enough to cause worry.
